Estara acontecendo próximo final de semana RFL
O Revezando Pela Vida é um projeto internacional de mobilização de pessoas pela causa do câncer, desenvolvido pela American Cancer Society, maior entidade voluntária em câncer do mundo. Em virtude da parceria com a organização americana, a Associação Brasileira do Câncer obteve o direito de realizar o "Revezando Pela Vida" no Brasil.
O principal objetivo da iniciativa é formar uma comunidade do câncer no Brasil que tenha representatividade perante o poder público, além de demonstrar apoio para aqueles que lutam contra o câncer e homenagear os que se foram
No Second Life ele ocorre nos dias 18 e 19 de julho mas as comemoracoes se inciam no dia 14 de marco
Entre os dia 14/3 e 19/7 varios eventos serao promovidos pelos times participante e tem como objetivo trazer diversao e uniao para as pessoas e tambem arrecadar fundos para o combate ao cancer
O que acontece no RFL do SL nos dias 18 e 19 de julho?
As ilhas participantes do relay são temáticas e criadas especialmente para o evento pelos mais talentosos designers e construtores do SL
Serpenteando atravez destas construções estará o caminho oficial do Relay For Life.
após a abertura sobreviventes e cuidadores serão convidados a dar um volta por todo o percurso que se extende por varias ilhas. Membros dos times e participantes são encorajados a torcer pelos participantes. Pelas próximas 24 horas os times são incentivados a ter pelo menos 1 membro correndo pela pista ( Todos podem e devem participar da "corrida").
Porque o Realy é Internacional ?
A missão do American Câncer Society é eliminar o câncer como o grande problema de saúde que atualmete ele se mostra. Câncer não conhece fronteiras. Esta crescendo como um “matador global” , especialmente em paises em desenvolvimento.
Sendo o Câncer um problema de saúde global , a missão de combate-lo se extende por todo o mundo
SL Green Lantern Core Events
The Relay for Life is an international project to mobilize for the cause of cancer, developed by the American Cancer Society, the largest voluntary organization in the cancer world. Under the partnership with the American organization, the Brazilian Cancer Association won the right to perform the "taking turns for Life" in Brazil.

In Second Life it takes place on 18 and 19 July but the celebrations are incident on March 14

The islands are participating in the relay and themes created especially for the event by the most talented designers and builders of SL

after the opening survivors and caregivers will be invited to give a lap around the track that extends for several islands. Members of the teams and participants are encouraged to cheer on the participants. For the next 24 hours teams are encouraged to have at least one member running down the track (Everyone can and should participate in the "race").

The American Cancer Society's mission is to eliminate cancer as a major health problem that atualmete it shows. Cancer knows no boundaries. This growing as a "global killer", especially in developing countries.
